In The Penal Colony

Franz Kafka’s satire In The Penal Colony is the story of an officer’s last-ditch efforts to save his beloved execution machine from a changing world. The apparatus comes to life and carves the broken law of the colony into the body of the condemned. The show is adapted and directed by Adrian Truss, and stars Wynn Howes, Bruce Hunter, Hamish McEwan and Rod Wilson. The Black Dog Group presents the production as part of The Fringe: Toronto’s Theatre Festival
