Duorama

FADO is pleased to present Duorama, six days of performance art actions in a Queen Street gallery window featuring Paul Couillard and Ed Johnson. The duo create a different image each day as they explore notions of relationship. Playful, beguiling, and at times minimalist, these pieces draw on collaborative and competitive tensions that underlie all partnerships. At the same time, these works can be read in terms of the current social and political climate surrounding the gay community, offering askance references to issues such as same-sex spousal benefits, HIV- status, and mainstream portrayals of gay culture.
