Brad Fraser’s play is a remarkable work that will surprise many. Though not without elements of shock. Cold Meat Party is a sophisticated urban play, set in an English drawing room with a mix of Canadian, American and British chracters who gather for the funeral of a writer. Fraser’s work is always controversial, but this new play also betrays a touching gentleness in his love for these troubled characters. Braham Murray directs this North American premiere.
