Bus Stop

Bus Stop takes place at a lonely diner on a Kansas highway that fills with life when the passengers on the Topeka bus are forced to wait out a winter storm. As the snow and cold swirl outside, the diner becomes a momentary haven, where Inge’s vivid characters — the club singer, the lovestruck cowboy, the wise-cracking waitress — can share their dreams and hidden histories. Dawn breaks, the storm subsides, the bus continues on its journey.
