Ed Decker directs Terrence McNally’s farce The Ritz. When a straight guy goes on the lam from the Mafia and hides out in a gay bathhouse, comic mistaken identities, bizarre chases, and unusual confrontations result. Not to mention the wacky determination of Googie Gomez, a feisty Puerto Rican lounge singer with dreams of making it Bette Midler style, who latches on to anyone she thinks looks like a producer.
