Roseanne Barr

By the age of three, Roseanne knew that she was going to be a comic and have her own TV show. Growing up Jewish in Salt Lake City, she collected a wealth of material at an early age. She evolved from a stand up sensation; having created the “Domestic Goddess” persona, to a television superstar, amassing four Emmy awards for her landmark hit TV series. Roseanne not only transformed the sitcom medium, by dealing with tough issues relating to gender, politics and the working class, but it portrayed real-life characters who struggled through life’s daily travails with humor, grace and deep abiding love. Roseanne has recently returned to her roots with her hilarious one-woman show. Always fresh, always exciting, never shrinking from controversy, we can’t wait to see what she has to say.
