This new play with live music is inspired by El Corrido de June Robles-a popular Mexican ballad that told the real life story of the 1930’s kidnapping of a 9-year old Mexican girl in the desert Southwest. Renowned playwright Octavio Solis again collaborates with award-winning composer Beth Custer and Campo Santo (The Ballad of Pancho and Lucy, 2005) to unearth this mysterious tale of the conflicted American frontier through song and memory.
