All I Wanted

Singer and actor Michael James performs some of his favorite songs on politics, love, and dating from the cabarets of the Weimar Republic, American musical theatre, and film. Among the many songs included in the program are works by Kurt Weill, George & Ira Gershwin, Cole Porter, the comedy writing team of Comden & Green, Randy Newman, and many others. In addition, several rarely performed songs by Friedrich Hollaender and Mischa Spoliansky will be presented. This evening’s performance will be accompanied by the talented pianist and songwriter, Mike Allen York.
