About This Show

The smash hit Off Broadway show, Mrs. Farnsworth, receives its West Coast Premiere under the direction of Fred Moramarco, the Artistic Director of Laterthanever Productions. Just in time for the elections, the controversial show is a political comedy with most of its barbs aimed at the current occupant of the White House.

“Political dynamite….a droll deconstruction of George W. Bush, electoral hypocrisy and the sorry state of sound-bite, sloganeering politics….as scathing as a swift boat ad.”
-Anne Marie Welsh, Theater Critic, San Diego Union Tribune

“Mr. and Mrs. Farnsworth [are] the most magnetic stage couple since George and Martha, the characters in Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf.”
-Pat Launer, Theater Critic, KPBS

“In these dark and disturbing political days, it’s nice to have a playwright, a theater and a bevy of local actors speak out—in the best way they can. And comedy makes the politics go down easy.”
-Pat Launer, Curtain Calls
