About the Show

In every aspect of this production the story have moved past the stage – from Harrison’s decision to write the play (he in fact was a sole Black, Gay teenager growing up in a small town in Kansas), casting (finding good actors who are willing to “play gay”), getting to high school students at the center of the story, and making the case that this is an aspect of LGBT life that anyone could use a little more perspective on.
