In the comedy What Corbin Knew, by Jeffrey Hatcher, Corbin is an up-and-coming architect given use of a luxury skybox in a newly built entertainment complex. He unwittingly invites two couples to join him for various events. The couples come from different ends of the middle-class spectrum (urban liberals vs. suburban conservatives) and it’s clear from the get-go, they should never spend time with each other. The more Corbin brings them together though, the more things fall apart in this comedy of manners about the surprising ways people witness disputed events, high above the excitement of basketball finals, Alice Cooper concerts, and Monster Truck rallies. Amanda DeMaio directs.
