The Other Voices Project at Taper, Too, the Mark Taper Forum’s new experimental theater testing ground presents Lynn Manning’s one-man play, directed by Robert Egan. Weights combines music, poetry and dramatic dialogue, as Manning takes the audience on a tour through his South Central L.A. upbringing, his life in Hollywood, the influences that defined him as an artist and the night a bullet forced him to redefine himself as a man.
