For its inaugural production, Theatre Out – Orange County’s Gay & Lesbian Theatre Company – has selected a sharp, intriguing new musical by Stephen Dolginoff, Thrill Me: The Leopold and Loeb Story. This two-man historical thriller recounts the chilling tale of Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb, Chicago’s infamous “thrill killers” of 1924, who committed one of the most infamous and heinous crimes of the 20th century. Thrill Me just received two Drama Desk Award nominations for Outstanding Musical and Outstanding Music, and rave reviews in its off-Broadway premiere.
In addition to the regular schedule, there is a Monday evening performance on September 11, 2006 at 8:00 PM. There is also the opportunity to meet Stephen Dolginoff after the show on the night of September 16th. There is no performance scheduled for Sunday, September 3rd.
