In The Clean House, Lane is a doctor who has it all. Though Mathilda, her Brazilian housekeeper, would rather perform comedy than chores, Lane has a fastidious sister who is only too happy to clean up after her sibling. No one however, can clean up the mess Lane’s life is in after her surgeon husband moves out. Nevertheless, Mathilda will now attempt to straighten up her employers’ two homes as they fight to straighten out their lives. Written by Sarah Ruhl, and directed by Kate Whoriskey.
