The Call List

The Garage Theatre presents its first one-woman show: The Call List by Brian James Polak, starring Bekah Martinez, and directed by company member Diana Kaufmann in her Garage Theatre directorial debut. In The Call List, Bekah Martinez plays Samantha Fisher, a dispirited legal assistant alone in the office on a Friday evening. She is tasked with phoning a list of strangers to inform them that a client has died. In between calls she must juggle the demands of her volatile boss and an impending family crisis. This dark comedy explores the complexities of death, professional obligation, personal crisis, and human connection with a unique blend of humor & poignancy.
