Red Thread

Based on a 1,200-year-old story set during the glorious and turbulent Tang dynasty, Red Thread follows three days in the career of a legendary assassin. To create a political alliance, a military governor marries his daughter to the son of a rival. When the alliance is threatened, the governor calls on Red Thread, his loyal servant and assassin, to stave off a potential disaster. But Red Thread has a secret agenda that may jeopardize not only the political alliance, but the entire future of China. The piece is written and directed by Stephen Legawiec for Ziggurat Theatre Company.
