Reckless

Get Down With It Productions presents Reckless, written by Craig Lucas. Jeremy Aldridge directs this darkly humorous Christmas Fable with an absurdist twist.

At home on Christmas Eve, Rachel is informed by her husband that he has hired a hit man to kill her. She is forced to scramble out the bedroom window and into the snowy night. She meets and is taken in by LLoyd Bophtelophti and his deaf, paraplegic girlfriend Pooty. Her new life is then interrupted by an ill-fated reunion with her husband- prompting another flight, this time with LLoyd as her companion. Rachel embarks on a series of comedic escapades involving various psychiatrists, numerous television appearances, and eventually her own transformation.
