With music and adventure South Coast Repertory’s Theatre for Young Audiences brings to life the classic Italian children’s story about a puppet that grows to become a real boy, making mischief in the meantime. Written by Susan DiLallo and composed by Jeffrey Harris this version has been updated, using the re-telling as an opportunity to joyously examine the contemporary issue of adoption and family.
