Letting Go of God chronicles Julia’s unexpected and hilarious journey when two Mormon missionary boys arrive on her doorstep. They inadvertently challenge her way of thinking about religion, God, and the nature of self. She ultimately leaves the Catholic church in which she was raised and which she loves deeply, and tentatively and reluctantly journeys toward non-belief, to the surprise of everyone, mostly herself. Letting Go of God is a comical and poignant story of a woman’s struggle with faith in our modern, scientific era.
