Elegies: A Song Cycle (PCPA)

Created and composed by the Tony Award-winner William Finn, Elegies: A Song Cycle is part theater piece and part cabaret, presenting a series of songs — beautiful, humorous, tough, reflective, raucous and heartfelt — written in remembrance of departed friends in Finn’s life. Instead of being mournful, the songs celebrate the lives of each individual, and the effect they had on the author’s life and on the world of the 21st century.

Part of PCPA Theaterfest’s Interplay staged reading series.
