Christmas Times

Five holiday vignettes make up Christmas Times, all touched with humor, yet poignant and mystical. In “Seasons of Snow” a woman returns, in her imagination, to her idyllic childhood in the mountains of Montana. “Secret Santa” involves the real Santa who is forced to help out a faltering marriage. In “Happy Chrisnakkuh,” a secular Jewish/Christian couple who are about to become parents, find they are facing the holiday season with a renewed angst and doubt about the future. In “Nutcracker, Sweet?” a woman dances for her life in her secret fantasy of the Nutcracker ballet. In “Sacred,” a successful young actor, who has cut down the wrong tree for Christmas, is followed home by an angry and vengeful wood sprite. Holiday music accompanies the five mystical tales.
