Experience night life vicariously through the disco club tough guys of Bouncers! Gritty, feisty, dark and fun, Bouncers, is as relevant and poignant in Hollywood today as it was in Edinburgh when first performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 1984. Five actors not only portray the Bouncers of a Yorkshire, England disco club, but the disco’s patrons, both male and female, as well. The versatile and accomplished ensemble transform and transition in seconds as they sing, dance, and guide the audience through a typical night at the club and all the angst, hormones, laughs, boredom, melodrama and seediness the dark, dank, place-to-be seen disco serves up.
