Blue Dahlia

As part of its 20th Anniversary celebration Pacific Resident Theatre presents Raymond Chandler’s The Blue Dahlia. This popular “film noir” murder mystery, released in 1946, has been adapted for stage by Dan O’Connor.

The returning World War II soldiers, a philandering wife, bristling dialogue, oily nightclub owner, and a mysterious murder set the pace for this cop dodging “stage noir” web of deceit. Could Johnny get to the “real” bottom of all this…or is he the bottom? While looking over his shoulder to see if it’s all a set-up…he may just catch a break!
