As It Is In Heaven

As It Is In Heaven focuses on nine women Shakers in 1838 Kentucky, who seek community and hope while grappling with visions of heaven, authentic religious experience, and the hierarchy of spiritual leadership. Authentic Shaker hymns and dances frame each scene of Shaker life in early America as the women face the truth about their faith in God and in each other.

There are post discussions all Sunday matinees. There is a special weekday student matinee on Thursday, March 13 at 1pm. There is a special benefit performance on Saturday, March 29 at 2:30pm.
