A Team Presents: A Night at the Biopera

An entirely improvised 45-minute musical based off the suggestion of a historical figure, A Night at the Biopera could be described as “Drunk History meets Hamilton.” With improvisers Annie Bond, Andrew Young, Andy Apuy, Eric Pastore, Cherelle Patrice, Tess Gattuso, Mary Lou Kolbenschlag, Sara Caplan, Angela Giarratana, and Scott Thiede, and with musical direction by Tony Gonzalez, A Night at the Biopera fuses the art of long-form improvisation comedy with musical theater while paying homage to biographical musicals such as Evita and Hamilton.
