WMI Plus At Home – Hispanic Heritage Month with Mireya Ramos

September 15 kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month, and we’re celebrating with a free online WMI Plus At Home session featuring Mireya Ramos, a Latin Grammy Award-winning vocalist, musician, composer, producer, arranger, and founder of Flor de Toloache – NYC’s only all–women mariachi ensemble. Her versatility, natural improvisational skills, and beautiful tone have made her one of the top Latin artists in New York City. Her recent debut solo album self self-titled Mireya, includes collaborations with Flor de Toloache, Gaby Moreno, Haydée Milanés, Camilo Lara, Adrian Quesada, Velcro, and the legendary Mike Garson, a pianist best known for his work with David Bowie. The session will include a Q&A with attendees.
