30 years as La Bruja: A Living Memoir

Caridad De La Luz (she/her/ella) is a world renowned spoken word artist known as La Bruja. She became Executive Director of the Nuyorican Poets Cafe in Jan. 2022 after beginning her career there in 1996. She won an Emmy in 2022 as Script Writer for Legacy of Puerto Rican Poetry, aired on ABC during the National Puerto Rican Day Parade 2021. Currently, Caridad has helped secure a 24-million-dollar renovation project which she coined "NuyoricanStruction", be reopened on Halloween in 2026.
