About This Show

They Named Us Mary, a play by Lipkin Prizewinner Lyralen Kaye, is the story of 5 Irish Catholic sisters, all with the same first name, who reunite at their father’s funeral for the first time in five years. As they struggle over who inherits his money, their need for each other surfaces again and again as they try to love over the obstacles of their shared childhood. At times hilariously funny, at times deeply moving, this is a story of sisterhood and salvation that illustrates the need women have for each other. Directed by Courtney O’Connor and featuring the Another Country Meisner Ensemble.

The stage is a ¾ thrust.
