Young Frankenstein

Frederick Frankenstein, a brilliant scientist and proud
descendant of the infamous Dr. Victor von Frankenstein, is determined to
distance himself from his family’s grisly legacy — even insisting his surname
be pronounced “Fronken-steen.”

When he inherits his grandfather’s ancestral castle high in
Transylvania, Frederick reluctantly travels there — joined by his devoted
servant Igor and the eager lab assistant Inga.

Once inside the castle’s creepy labs, Frederick — spurred on
by eerie family legacies and the manipulative housekeeper Frau Blucher —
decides to resurrect the dead and attempt his grandfather’s infamous
experiment. Chaos, comedy, and wild hijinks ensue as he animates a monstrous
but misunderstood creation.

In a mixture of comedy farce, romance, and mad-scientist
zany energy, Frederick learns that legacy, identity, and what it means to be
“normal” are far more complicated — and far funnier — than he ever anticipated.
