Inspired by Federico Fellini’s Academy Award winning film, Le Notti Di Cabiria, Sweet Charity tells the story of Charity Hope Valentine, a dance hall hostess looking for true love, but landing nothing but low-lifes. Though one too many heartaches has her vowing never to love again, the hopelessly optimistic Charity takes one last shot at love. Through thick and thin — and even the cruelest reversal of fortune –Charity’s relentless spirit triumphs over life’s adversities.
