About This Show

Lee Blessing’s Black Sheep takes a provocative and very funny look at racism, greed, and the demise of the White Anglo Saxon Protestant. Nelson, Serene and Max Winship are wealthy WASPs for whom strong emotions are definitely not comme il faut. Their calm veneer is shredded by the arrival of their half-Black cousin Carl, recently released from prison. As they encounter Carl, the Winships? cool blue blood begins to boil. Soon hot emotion spills all over the stage.
