Atlantis

Two year’s ago Executive Director Kate Maguire and Unicorn and Main Stage Director Eric Hill delighted a BTF benefit audience with a reading from The Lion in Winter. This season, the two will again join forces for a reading of Atlantis, the intoxicating new play by award-winning playwright Maureen Hunter (Transit of Venus), directed by Denis Garnhum.

As luminous, romantic and mysterious as its setting on the magical Greek island of Santorini, Hunter’s ravishingly erotic play traces a passionate encounter between a broken-hearted Canadian and the woman who the villagers believe is the Madonna. Ms. Hunter will conduct a Q & A after the reader, and a reception follows.
