The Paramount Theater has announced the touring productions set for its 2012-2013 season, according to The Seattle Times.

The season’s first offering will be Stephen Schwartz’s hit musical about the witches of Oz Wicked (October 10-November 17). Then, kicking off the new year, Paramount will present The Book of Mormon (January 8-20), the currently-running popular Broadway musical comedy. The 2011 Tony-winning play War Horse (February 13-24) will introduce audiences to the story of a young boy and his horse during World War I.

In the spring, Paramount will present Flashdance (April 16-21), a new musical based on the 1983 film of the same name. Fela! (May 28-June 2) will tell the story of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s life as artist, political activist, and revolutionary musician. The final show of the season will be the Broadway musical based on the movie starring Whoopi Goldberg Sister Act (August 20-25).
