Dianne Wiest in Samuel's Beckett's Happy Days Joins Berkeley Rep Season

New plays by Sarah Ruhl and Suzan-Lori Parks are also in the lineup.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre has announced three shows that complete its 2019-20 season: Suzan-Lori Parks's Outer Critics Circle Award-winning drama White Noise (September 2019), the world premiere of Sarah Ruhl's Becky Nurse of Salem (December 2019), and Samuel Beckett's Happy Days, starring Dianne Wiest and Michael Rudko, directed by James Bundy (May 2020).

They join Francis Turnly's The Great Wave directed by Mark Wing-Davey (September 2019); Culture Clash (Still) in America, directed by Lisa Peterson (February 2020); Jocelyn Bioh's School Girls; or, The African Mean Girls Play, directed by Awoye Timpo (March 2020); and Swept Away, with music by the Avett Brothers, book by John Logan, and direction by Michael Mayer (June 2020).
