Matt Bailey, Joseph Leo Bwarie, Steve Gouveia, Quinn VanAntwerp, et al. Set for Jersey Boys in Philadelphia

Casting has been announced for the Philadelphia engagement of Jersey Boys, to run September 30 – December 12 at the Forrest Theatre. The production is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Des McAnuff and has choreography by Sergio Trujillo.

The musical — written by Academy Award winner Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe — tells the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Nick Massi, and includes dozens of their popular hits including “Walk Like a Man,” “Sherry,” “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Oh What a Night,” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You.”

The company stars Matt Bailey (DeVito), Joseph Leo Bwarie (Valli), Steve Gouveia (Massi), along with Quinn VanAntwerp (Gaudio), who has been playing the role in the Toronto prodctuion of the show.

The ensemble includes Candi Boyd, Jared Bradshaw, Christopher DeAngelis, John Michael Dias, John Edwards, Philadelphia native Alayna Gallo, John Gardiner, Buck Hujabre, Denise Payne, Brian Silverman, Courter Simmons, Ryan Strand, Lauren Tartaglia, Kara Tremel, Mark Verdino, and Kevin Worley.
