Bucks County Playhouse has announced its spring benefit Galavant in the Garden, a garden party, featuring a new one-man show by Tony Award winner and cohost of this year's Tony Awards Alan Cumming (Cabaret). The fundraising event will be held May 9 at Dark Hollow Farm, a private Bucks County gentleman’s estate.

"We are delighted that this year some dear friends of the Playhouse offered their home and gardens for our spring gala," said Alexander Fraser, producing director for BCP. "And when Alan Cumming called looking for a place to try out his new one-man show before its premiere at New York’s Café Carlyle this summer, we couldn’t resist putting these two very special events together."

In addition to Cumming's performance, Galavant in the Garden will include cocktails, a movable feast, a live auction, and dessert. Guests will also receive tickets to the May 30 opening-night performance and party of the Playhouse's season opening production of Company, starring Justin Guarini. Tickets range from $250 to $1,000.
