Enter Laughing Returns to the York Theatre Company

The musical comedy stars Chris Dwan and Allie Trimm.

The York Theatre Company has released photos from its new revival of Enter Laughing: The Musical, running through June 9.

The 10-member cast features Raji Ahsan as Pike, Farah Alvin as Angela Marlowe, Dana Costello as Miss B, Ray DeMattis as Mr. Foreman, Chris Dwan as David Kolowitz, Alison Fraser as Mother, Robert Picardo as Father, David Schramm as Marlowe, Allie Trimm as Wanda, and Joe Veale as Marvin.

Written by Joseph Stein (book) and Stan Daniels (score), the musical is based on Stein's dramatic adaptation of Carl Reiner's semiautobiographical novel. The production is directed by Stuart Ross, with choreography by Jennifer Paulson-Lee, who reunite after staging the York's last production of Enter Laughing in 2008.

The creative team includes James Morgan (sets), Tyler M. Holland (costumes), Ken Billington and Jason Kantrowitz (lights), Julian Evans (sound), and Brooke van Hensbergen (props).
