Austin Pendleton will be featured in the Pearl Theatre Company’s production of Henrik Ibsen’s Rosmersholm, to run November 12 – December 19 at New York City Center – Stage II. Elinor Renfield will direct the production.

Pendleton’s Broadway credits as an actor include Fiddler on the Roof, The Little Foxes, and The Diary of Anne Frank. As a director, he earned a Tony Award nomination for The Little Foxes, starring Elizabeth Taylor, and has staged Lillian Hellman’s Toys in the Attic and Tennessee Williams’ Vieux Carre for the Pearl. As a playwright, his credits include Uncle Bob, Booth, and Orson’s Shadow.

In addition, he is an ensemble member of Steppenwolf Theatre Company, where, as previously reported, he will direct Detroit this fall.
