Zachary Noah Piser and Hannah Kevitt will star in the Broadway production of Maybe Happy Ending.

The producers of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Maybe Happy Ending have announced new casting for the Broadway production, which is currently running at the Belasco Theatre. Zachary Noah Piser will take over the role of Oliver on Tuesday, May 19 after Darren Criss, who won a Tony for originating the role, plays his final performance on May 17. Also on the 19th, Hannah Kevitt will officially step into the role of Claire, taking over from Claire Kwon.

Piser most recently appeared on Broadway opposite Idina Menzel in Redwood. TheaterMania named his performance as one of the 10 best of 2025.

Kevitt has previously appeared on Broadway in Back to the Future. An original company member of Maybe Happy Ending and current standby for Claire, she has recently played the role for an extended period, from February 17 through April 2.

Original cast members Dez Duron and Marcus Choi will remain in the Broadway production.

Claire Kwon and Steven Huynh will lead the North American tour of Maybe Happy Ending.

Meanwhile, Kwon will lead the North American tour of Maybe Happy Ending opposite Steven Huynh, who made his Broadway debut as Criss’s standby. The multi-year tour will launch later this year in Baltimore at the Hippodrome Theatre at The France-Merrick Performing Arts Center, where it will run from September 13-19.
