Pendleton stars as Ward Stein, a professor teaching on a university campus in New York City. Joining Pendleton in the cast are Tim Platt, Cesar J. Rosado, Claire Siebers, Laura Lassy Townsend, and Christopher Dylan White.

The design team includes Oona Curley (lighting and set design), Lauren Levin (costume design), and Peter Mills Weiss (sound design). The production stage manager will be Lindsay Warnick, and the associate stage manager will be Sidney Junk.

Softfocus is a theater incubator designed to create an alternative to the reading-based development cycle and produce New York premieres in real time. It was founded by Matt Kagen and Fern Diaz to provide playwrights artistic development, followed by a heavily marketed premiere on a New York stage with a goal of going from page to audience in six months.
