The farce will be presented by Northern Stage in Vermont.

Northern Stage will present the world premiere of Wonder! A Woman Keeps a Secret, a new comedy by Talene Monahon, directed by Aileen Wen McGroddy. Performances run May 13-31 in the Byrne Theater at the Barrette Center for the Arts in White River Junction, Vermont.
Leading the company are Tony winner Will Brill (Stereophonic) and Martha Burns (Slings and Arrows), alongside Serena Brook, Grayson DeJesus, Sam Bolen, Tay Bass, Annie Fang, Yonatan Gebeyehu, and Kelly McAndrew.
The new comedy is loosely adapted from a 1714 farce by Susanna Centlivre and follows a chaotic cruise voyage from Paris to Portugal, where a missing painting sparks suspicion among a colorful group of passengers. Monahon is also the author of Meet the Cartozians and The Good John Proctor.
The creative team includes scenic designer Eleanor Kahn, costume designer Camilla Dely, lighting designer Eric Watkins, sound designer Johnny Gasper, and fight director Casey Kaleba.
