UPDATE: Check out our interview with the men of Potted Potter on opening night here! And happy Tonys!
June 3, 2013 – Wait no more, Harry Potter fans. Potted Potter, Daniel Clarkson and Jefferson Turner’s 70-minute retelling of the entire Harry Potter book series, has returned from its national tour to its original home at the off-Broadway’s Little Shubert Theatre. Tomorrow night marks the official reopening of the theatrical parody, directed by Richard Hurst, which returns to New York for a limited 13-week engagement. Performances are scheduled to run through September 1.
In celebration of their New York return, Clarkson and Turner have been “Pottering around town” (aka roaming through New York City on broomsticks), inviting excited fans to do the same. Potted Potter is asking fans to post photos of themselves “Pottering around town” on Twitter with the hashtag #PottedPottering or to send photos to contest@pottedpotter.com. The best “Potter-er” will win dinner at a local restaurant and four tickets to see the show. If your Pottering is in need of assistance, take a lesson from Potted Potter creators themselves, Clarkson and Turner (photos courtesy of the production).
