The UK tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, which stars Keith Jack in the title role, has extended with new dates added to the schedule through November 2011. Bill Kenwright has directed the production.

Jack is perhaps best known as one of the finalists on the BBC reality series Any Dream Will Do, which cast the role of Joseph for a West End revival of the show. Jack previously played the Narrator in a 2007 tour of the musical, and has been playing the lead role of Joseph on the current tour since July 2010. Among his other stage credits are Aladdin, Peter Pan, and Only the Brave. He has released two albums, his debut This Time, and most recently An Evening at the Musicals.

The creative team for the tour includes Henry Metcalfe (choreography), Sean Cavanagh (production design), Mark Howett (lighting design), and Chris Full (sound design).

Newly announced tour dates include The Theatre Royal in Windsor (August 2-7); The Opera House in Manchester (August 16-21); The Cliffs Pavillion in Westcliff-on-Sea (August 23-28); The Theatre Royal in Norwich (August 29-September 3); Grand Opera House in Belfast (September 6-18); The Alhambra Theatre in Bradford (September 20-25); Wycombe Swan in High-Wycombe (September 27-October 1); The Churchill Theatre in Bromley (October 4-9); The Forum Theatre in Billingham (October 11-15); The Millenium Forum in Derry (October 18-22); The Everyman in Cheltenham (October 25-30); and The New Theatre in Cardiff (November 1-13).
