Tony Bennett, Jerry Seinfeld, and Bruce Springsteen will be among the performers for the benefit Stand-Up for Heroes, to be held at the Beacon Theatre on Wednesday, November 3 at 8pm. Jon Stewart will host the event.
The benefit will bring together leaders from business, entertainment and philanthropy to raise funds to help injured service members and their families as they return to their communities. The performance will be transmitted to U.S. military troops on bases in Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as injured service members at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC.
Additional performers will include Joel McHale, Bill Burr, the 4Troops, and the Max Weinberg Big Band.
