Tommy Tune to Present Steps in Time for NYC Benefit

Tommy Tune will present a benefit performance of his new show Steps in Time: A Broadway Biography in Song & Dance at New York’s John Jay College, on September 21 at 8:00 pm. All proceeds benefit Friends In Deed – The Crisis Center for Life-Threatening Illness.

The program includes a collection of songs, stories, and dances through which Tune looks back on 50 years in show business. He will be joined by the Manhattan Rhythm Kings in numbers from his Tony Award-winning shows like Seesaw, My One and Only, Grand Hotel, Nine, Will Rogers Follies, and more.

Tune has won nine Tony Awards for acting, direction, and choreography. He is also the recipient of the National Medal of the Arts, eight Drama Desk Awards, two Obie Awards, and two Fred Astaire Awards.
