Closing the season will be the New York premiere of Michael McKeever's new play, Daniel's Husband (March-April 2017). Directed by Joe Brancato, the work explores what it means to be living in a world where fundamental rights aren't always so fundamental.
The 2016-17 season will also kick off the new Primary Stages Studio Series, PS TWO, which will feature productions in a smaller setting and enable Primary Stages and its audiences to explore new writers and their work on a more intimate level. The series' first production will be the New York premiere Fade (November-December) by Tanya Saracho, writer and coproducer of the ABC series How to Get Away With Murder.
