Mia Perovetz’s autobiographical solo show, The Things I Wish My Mother Would Have Told Me, will commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Adrienne Lovette will direct. The show will open in Greenwich, CT, October 6-10, and then move to Center Stage Theater in New York, October 22-November 2.

The piece follows Rosa’s life as the daughter of a mother dying from cancer. Perovetz founded the AfterGlo Theatre Company in Orlando, FL and produced Nell Dunn’s Cancer Tales for The American Cancer Society. Her acting credits include an adaptation of Eve Ensler’s Good Body, and Neil Labute’s BASH – Medea Redux.
