The Philadelphia Theatre Company will present Theresa Rebeck’s comedy Seminar and Katori Hall’s play The Mountaintop as part of its 2012-2013 season. Dates, casting, creative teams, along with the remainder of the season will be announced shortly.
Seminar examines the dynamics of a writing group on New York’s Upper West Side as four aspiring novelists deal with the unorthodox teaching style of Leonard, a famous literary figure.
The Mountaintop reimagines the night before the assassination of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, as a local waitress joins Dr. King in his room at the Lorraine Motel while a storm rages outside.
