The national tour of If/Then continues tonight with performances at the San Diego Civic Theater and runs through January 10 before moving on to the ASU Gammage Auditorium in Tempe, Arizona.

Elizabeth is a city planner who has moved back to New York in the hopes of reinventing her life in a place of infinite possibilities. However, all of her plans go awry when fate gets in the way. From there two distinct paths and futures emerge for Elizabeth. The musical follows both journeys simultaneously and shows the conundrum of choice and chance in the life of the modern woman.

If/Then reunites composer Tom Kitt, book writer and lyricist Brian Yorkey, and director Michael Greif, the team behind the award-winning musical Next to Normal. Heading up the cast is Tony Award winner and original Broadway cast member Idina Menzel. Joining her from the original cast is LaChanze, Anthony Rapp, and James Snyder.

The show also features Janine DiVita as Anne, Daren A. Herbert as Stephen, and Marc de la Cruz as David. The ensemble comprises English Bernhardt, Charissa Bertels, Xavier Cano, Trey Ellett, Kyra Faith, Corey Greenan, Cliffton Hall, Deedee Magno Hall, Tyler McGee, Joseph Morales, Emily Rodgers, and Alicia Taylor Tomasko.

The creative team includes Larry Keigwin (choreography), Kenneth Posner (light design), Mark Wendland (set design), Emily Rebholz (costume design), and Brian Ronan (sound design).

Performances will run through January 10.
