Casting has been announced for Stoneham Theatre’s production of William Inge’s classic drama Picnic, to run April 2-19. Caitlin Lowans will direct.
Set in a small Kansas town in the early 1950s, Picnic tells the story of Madge and Alan, a sweet young couple and Hal, the ex-football star and drifter who awakens Madge’s true desires and shakes up the community.
The cast will include Leigh Barrett (Irma Kronkite), Scott Coffey (Bomber Guetzl), Lisa Foley (Mrs. Potts), Emily Graham-Handley (Millie Owens), Aidan Kane (Hal Carter), Delilah Kistler (Madge Owens), Craig Mathers (Howard Bevans), Dee Nelson (Flo Owens), Sarah Newhouse (Rosemary Sydney), and Ben Sloane (Alan Seymour).
The design team will feature Seth Bodie (costumes), Charlie Morgan (set), Christopher Ostrom (lighting), and David Wilson (sound).
